If you plan to use Medicare for health coverage after the age of 65, you should consider signing up for Medicare Parts A and B up to three months prior to turning 65. Don’t put off enrolling in Medicare! If you don’t sign up for Part B or Part D when you are first eligible, you may have to pay a penalty when you enroll later.
